Gunman robbed store, struck clerk

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) -

A robber armed with a silver handgun held up a Lancaster Township convenience store and struck the clerk after he received cash from the register Sunday night, police said.

The heist occurred at the Turkey Hill store at 936 Columbia Avenue just before 11 p.m., Manheim Township police said.

Police have released a surveillance photo of the robber, who was described a black male in his 20's, about 5'8" tall, 160-180 pounds, and wearing a Navy blue hooded sweatshirt with white or gray strings and a white logo.
