Police: Enola man assaulted woman, towed her car

ENOLA, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police are looking for an Enola man who's wanted on charges he assaulted a woman and then towed off her car as soon as he was released from jail.

Joseph Stark, 62, faces counts of simple assault, harassment and intimidation of a victim, East Pennsboro Township police said.

Stark was arrested after he injured the woman during a domestic incident March 11 in the 400 block of Ridge Avenue, police said. He was sent to Cumberland County Prison on $7,500 bail.

Part of his bail conditions were to have no contact with the woman, but he when he was released later in the day he called her and told her to drop the charges, police said.

A few hours later, police said he went to the woman's workplace and towed her vehicle, leaving her stranded.

Police have a warrant for Stark's arrest. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call East Pennsboro police at 717-732-3633.
