State police investigate Mt Holly Springs bank robbery

MOUNT HOLLY SPRINGS, Pa. (WHTM) -

State police are searching for a suspect following a bank robbery at the M&T Bank in Mount Holly Springs on Tuesday morning.

According to officials, a white man, approximately 6' tall wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans, entered the M&T Bank in the 600 block of Holly Pike in South Middleton Township at 11:45 a.m.

Police said the man walked up to the teller with his hood over his head and a black ninja-style mesh mask covering his face. He then demanded all the teller's money.

After receiving cash, the robber left the bank and fled the scene on foot towards State Route 34. Upon reaching the roadway, a pink dye pack was activated.

The investigation continues. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Pennsylvania State Police, and anyone who comes in contact with a person who has any pink/red staining on his person, clothing, bags or currency is asked to contact Trooper Miller at 717-249-2121.
