Lynchburg, VA – Lynchburg Police have taken a man into custody after an extensive week long search in Lynchburg and Amherst County.  He was wanted for murdering his own son.

Oliver Seigefred Felix is being charged with Murder, Felony Child Abuse and Felony Child Endangerment in the death of his two year old son, Simeon Orhyon Tyler.

These charges stem from an April 18, 2013 medical call when the child was brought to Lynchburg General Hospital with significant injuries requiring him to be flown to the University of Virginia hospital for treatment.

While at UVA hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.
