HUMMELSTOWN, Pa. (WHTM) -

A Missouri man charged more than $10,000 to a Hummelstown woman's credit card account after he got her card number by posing as a legitimate company, also known as a "phishing" scam, according to state police in Harrisburg.

Jason E. Brace, 44, of St. Louis, contacted M&T Bank and changed the address on the credit card account to his home address, and two days later he had a card issued in his name and sent to his address, police said.

Brace then traveled to several Walmart stores in Missouri and bought Apple iPads totaling $10,975, police said.

He has been charged with theft by deception, access device fraud, and identity theft.
