RAWLINSVILLE, Pa. (WHTM) -

State police said they cannot determine the cause of a fire that destroyed a Lancaster County home and displaced two people who lived there.

Police said an investigation could not reveal the source of the fire Friday morning in the first block of Den Mar Drive in Martic Township.

The fire is not considered suspicious.

A 70-year-old woman and two dogs safely escaped the home when the fire started just after 9 a.m., police said.

Damage is estimated at approximately $250,000.

The American Red Cross said it is assisting the residents with food and clothing.
