Update: Victim identified in York shooting

YORK, Pa. (WHTM) -

UPDATE:

Police identified the shooting victim as Trever Smallwood, 23, of York.  Police said he suffered a gunshot wound to his lower leg.  He was taken to York Hospital where is listed in stable condition.

Police said the unknown suspect or suspects may have fled the area in a vehicle immediately after firing the gunshots.

PREVIOUSLY REPORTED:

Officials say one person was injured in a shooting on West Princess Street in York on Tuesday night.

According to dispatchers, the incident happened at around 9:30 p.m. in the 600 block of West Princess Street.

No other details are known at this time.
