AUBURN, Ala. -- Three teens were arrested this week on burglary and theft charges after they allegedly broke into the Auburn football locker room at Jordan-Hare Stadium and stole thousands of dollars in football memorabilia, including helmets worn by Heisman Trophy winners Bo Jackson and Cam Newton.

According to police, the three suspects -- John Williams, 19, Nicholas Calvin, 18, and Zachary Keeler, 18, -- broke into the stadium on March 22 and took several items valued at over $16,000.

The trio surrendered to police Wednesday after warrants for their arrest were issued. They were booked into the Lee County Jail on charges of third-degree burglary and second-degree theft of property. They have since been released on individual bonds of $8,000.

It is unknown at this time how the suspects made entry into the facility.

Other items reportedly stolen include Jackson's No. 34 jersey and game-used football and Newton's No. 2 jersey he wore in Auburn's win over Oregon in the 2010 BCS National Championship Game. Football gloves, socks and shirts were also taken.

All of the stolen merchandise was recovered by police.
