  Running regularly has long been linked to a host of health benefits, including weight control, stress reduction, better blood pressure and cholesterol.
       But scientists now believe you lose some of those benefits when you run too much.
 Doctors at the Cardiovascular Research Institute in Pennsylvania found too much running is tied to a shorter life span.
      They say people who get either no exercise or high-mileage runners both tend to have shorter life spans than moderate runners.
     But, the reasons why are unclear.
    One expert suggests a "moderate" running regimen of two to three hours per week appears best for longevity.
