Some Steelton residents are planning to voice their concerns about the safety of their water at Monday night's borough council meeting.
Borough officials have assured people their water is safe to drink, after the Department of Environmental Protection issued a $55,000 fine accusing the borough of not sanitizing the water and falsifying reports.
The state now says the water is safe because the violations happened last year and there is no evidence of any current problems. But for some who live in the borough, that's not enough.
Monday's meeting is set for 6:30 p.m. at the Steelton borough building.
