Lynchburg - Lynchburg Sports Club members got the chance Monday night to hear from first-year Liberty Flames softball coach Dot Richardson.
Richardson is a dynamic speaker and one of the most decorated players in softball history, helping Team USA win gold in 1996 and 2000. The 5-time college All-American says despite a tough win-loss record for LU, 6-and-31 entering Tuesday, the Flames are improving and the future is bright.
Dot Richardson, LIBERTY FLAMES SOFTBALL COACH, said "We have some great players coming in, we really do. So make sure you're watching Liberty softball because it's going to be a vast improvement as far as record goes, but when you look at just bringing in quality of women in sport, I hope it is exactly the same because these women, this year, are incredible. They really are."
