DOVER, Pa. (WHTM) -

A York County teenager has died from injuries he suffered in a two-vehicle crash in Dover Township last month.

John Jackson, 16, of Dover, died Tuesday at York Hospital, according to the York County Coroner's Office.

Jackson was driving a 1997 Jeep Cherokee on Route 74 when the SUV went out of control on an icy roadway, crossed into the opposite lane and collided with a 2001 Dodge Durango between Blackberry Road and Sky Top Trail, according to Northern York County Regional police.

Jackson's passenger, 52-year-old Karen Lee Jackson, died at the scene.

The driver of the Dodge, a 44-year-old Dover Township man, was transported to York Hospital for treatment of minor injuries, police said.
