Harrisburg police are investigating the death of an infant.
The 6-month-old boy was pronounced dead this morning after emergency responders were called to a home in the first block of S. 16th Street, according to police.
The baby's grandmother told abc27 News that she lives in the home with her 22-year-old son, who is the boy's father.
She said the baby had been napping in his crib when she and her son discovered he wasn't breathing.
The grandmother said she tried to resuscitate the child while her son called 911.
The infant was pronounced dead at a hospital.
