A Chester County man faces charges after reportedly leading state police on a car chase and foot pursuit in Lancaster County.
According to officials, 29-year-old Gregory Charles Kastner of Atglen was seen driving erratically just after 4 a.m. Sunday morning in the area of Hoffmeier Road and State Route 30 in Gap.
Troopers tried to stop Kastner's vehicle, but officials said Kastner led them on a high-speed chase down numerous roads and through farm fields in the area.
The vehicle eventually stopped, and a brief foot pursuit ensued.
Kastner was eventually taken into custody, and police found that he was under the influence of drugs and had outstanding warrants.
Kastner now faces multiple charges including fleeing and eluding, possession of drug paraphernalia, agricultural vandalism and numerous traffic-related offenses.
