The Steelton Water Authority will hold its first meeting since the community found out about recent violations and sanctions filed by the Department of Environmental Protection.
The meeting is set for 5 p.m. at the borough building. A large turnout is expected.
The state fined the authority for not properly sanitizing the water and falsifying reports.
Borough leaders say the water is safe to drink. Some residents, however, say they now have health issues and they are concerned the water may be to blame.
