MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police have filed charges against two Mechanicsburg residents in connection with a firearm that was on the grounds of the Cumberland Valley High School.

Silver Spring Township police said 19-year-old Jesse Strock was charged with possession of weapon on school property, firearms not to be carried without a license, terroristic threats, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police said the investigation additionally revealed that the gun was owned by 21-year-old Jeremy King, who was charged with reckless endangerment.

Police reported last week that a student was in the possession of a handgun during school hours on Wednesday.

The gun was locked in the glove box of a student's car and other students were not threatened with the weapon, police said.
