A Hummelstown man was arrested after a police pursuit through Harrisburg and on Interstate 83.
State police said 47-year-old Shane Bryant Moody fled a traffic stop at Brookwood and S. 17th streets early Tuesday.
A 35-year-old Harrisburg woman attempted to exit the vehicle as Moody fled and was seen hanging from the passenger door during the pursuit. She eventually fell from the vehicle but suffered no injuries, police said.
The pursuit came to an end when Moody came to a dead end. He was taken into custody and stunned with a Taser when he resisted arrest, police said.
Moody was charged with a felony count of flight to avoid apprehension, misdemeanor counts of fleeing and eluding, reckless endangerment and resisting arrest, and 10 summary violations, according to court documents.
His bail at Dauphin County Prison was set at $50,000 cash.
