Tide golfers Robby Shelton and Bobby Wyatt are Hogan semifinalists

Alabama's Robby Shelton and Bobby Wyatt made the semifinal cut for one of golf's most prestigious honors.

The Tide duo is among 10 players still in the running for the Ben Hogan Award which is the annual honor presented to the nation's top college golfer. The award takes into account all amateur and collegiate competitions through every level of competition (Division I, II, III, NAIA and NJCAA).

Shelton leads the Crimson Tide in scoring average (70.48) and is 17 under par for the season. The freshman from Wilmer, Ala. has six top-five finishes in nine events.

Wyatt is second on the team in scoring average (71.13) and is 1-over par for the year. He's one of the top players in the country according to the Golfweek/Sagarin Performance Index and by Golfstat.com.

Wyatt has eight top-10 finishes in nine events this season.
