A home in Manchester Township, York County was ransacked and property was stolen during a burglary last week, according to police.
The resident left the home in the 2500 block of Shagbark Court just after 5 p.m. Wednesday and returned about two hours later to find jewelry and electronics had been taken from numerous rooms, Northern York County Regional police said.
The intruder had apparently cut a screen and forced open a locked window.
Police said an iPad belonging to the homeowner was found in a tree line separating Shagbark Court from Greenleaf Road.
The total loss has not yet been determined and the burglary is still under investigation.
Anyone with information is asked to call Northern York County Regional police at 717-292-3647.
