Police: Man pulled knife in Carlisle robbery

CARLISLE, Pa. (WHTM) -

Carlisle police are looking for a man who pulled a knife during an attempted robbery in the first block of W. Pomfret Street.

Police said the unidentified man demanded money from the victim at around 11 p.m. Monday night, then pulled the knife when the victim refused.

The victim then grabbed the suspect and the knife was dropped as the two fell to the ground, police said.

The victim, a 29-year-old man, sustained three minor cuts.

The suspect fled the area after the struggle.

Police said he was described as 5'5" tall with a medium build, with a red or brown beard or goatee, and had his head shaved. He was wearing a red hat and a black shirt.
