A Steelton man will be charged with child endangerment after his toddler was found alone and crying on a street corner while wearing only a diaper, police said.
Joshua Gilbert, 25, of the 600 block of South 2nd Street, was sleeping when officers went to his home Monday afternoon, police said.
His child had been was found alone and crying for his father at around 3:30 p.m. Monday in the 500 block of South 2nd Street in Steelton, and the boy's diaper was overflowing from bowel movements, police said.
An ambulance was dispatched for medical care and evaluation of the toddler, and Dauphin County Children and Youth Services was made aware of the incident, police said.
