Camp Hill police say a hate group that recently distributed flyers in York County has left more of the leaflets in the West Shore borough.
The flyers claim the group is engaged in "neighborhood watch" activities.
Camp Hill Police Chief Doug Hockenberry said his department has not partnered with and has not been contacted by any organization interested in starting a neighborhood watch group.
If there is a police emergency or if residents have a public safety concern, they should call the Camp Hill Borough Police Department, not the number listed on any flyer residents may receive, Hockenberry said.
Hockenberry added that his department will not tolerate hate crimes of any sort, and will arrest anyone who commits a crime against a person or group because of their race.
