Police seek suspect of Harrisburg shooting

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

Harrisburg Police are searching for the suspect of a shooting that happened early Friday on the 400 block of S. 17th Street in the city.

Police say they responded to a shooting around 3:43 a.m. Friday. They say they found a 22-year-old at the scene. He was shot and taken to a local hospital for treatment and is recovering at this time.

Based on the investigation officials have issued an arrest warrant for Dominic Flemister. He's charged with aggravated assault and firearms violations in relation to the shooting.

Police say Flemister is known to frequent both Harrisburg and Carlisle.
