The United States Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force arrested a New Jersey sex offender fugitive Monday in Lebanon.
Dwayne Dove, 51, was arrested around 9:15 Monday morning in the 100 block of East Cumberland Street in Lebanon.
Dove was convicted in July 2004 of enticing/luring a child by various means in Union County, New Jersey and was required to register as a sex offender. Officials say he last registered in Warren County, New Jersey.
New Jersey State Parole issued an arrest warrant for Dove on March 28, 2014 after he removed an electronic ankle monitor and vacated his registered address without permission and failed to update his sex offender registration address, according to a news release.
Throughout the investigation, officials learned that Dove was likely in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. Deputy U.S. Marshals from Harrisburg investigated further, and arrested Dove.
Dove was turned over to the Lebanon County Booking Center pending an extradition hearing before a Magisterial District Justice.
