HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -
There was another strong push from families urging the governor to legalize medical marijuana Monday.
Democratic State Senator Daylin Leach, who represents Delaware and Montgomery Counties, and several families told the governor that unless he meets with them to talk about how medical marijuana can help their children, they are planning to sit-in at his office.
"The only thing standing between these sick children in Pa. and their medicine is Governor Tom Corbett, who has threatened to veto any bill which helps these sick kids," Leach said.
The group gave Corbett until Friday to respond.
Corbett tells abc27 he already met with one family and State Senator Mike Folmer, the other co-sponsor of the bill.
