A York County man has been charged in connection with his girlfriend's heroin death.
Tyler Shane Valentine, 19, of New Freedom, admitted he supplied Alexandra Sneed with the heroin that was later determined to be a direct cause for her death, Southern Regional police said.
Valentine was charged Wednesday with drug delivery resulting in death, a first-degree felony punishable by 20-40 years in prison, as well as possession with the intent to deliver, corruption of minors, and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.
His bail at York County Prison was set at $750,000.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 8.
