Police seek tips in credit card fraud

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police in Lancaster County need help identifying three suspects in a case of credit card theft and fraud.

East Lampeter Township police said two people reported their credit cards and cash were stolen from their purses Tuesday while they dined at the Olive Garden restaurant in Rockvale Square.

Two men and a woman had asked to sit at a table behind the victims, ordered only water, and left shortly after sitting down, police said.

The victims discovered the theft of the cards and money before leaving the restaurant, and reported the loss to discover that one of the cards had already been used at the nearby Target store to purchase over $1,000 worth of merchandise.

The descriptions of the two men and the woman who used the card matched those of the three people in the restaurant, police said.

Police have released surveillance photos of the suspects so that someone may recognize them.

Anyone with information may call East Lampeter police at 717-291-4676.
