A Middletown woman is facing charges after police say she left her two children alone in a vehicle.
Ashley Orris, 30, has been charged with endangering the welfare of children, leaving an unattended child in a motor vehicle and false reports, according to Swatara Township police.
Police said they received a complaint April 27 that two small children were alone in an SUV in the parking lot of a business in the 4600 block of High Pointe Boulevard.
The SUV was gone when an officer arrived at the business, but police said that after a brief investigation they learned Orris had left the 3- and 7-year-old unattended while she was shopping.
