EAST BERLIN, Pa. (WHTM) -

A Dillsburg man told police he was stabbed by two masked men while he walked Tuesday night along Route 194 in East Berlin.

Cody Hammaker, 23, was stabbed once in the back of his right shoulder and suffered wounds to his hands at around 11 p.m., police said.

Hammaker continued walking after the attack and made it to the 600 block of South Baltimore Street in Carroll Township when police found him about 20 minutes later.

Carroll Township police said they turned the investigation over to state police when they learned Hammaker was attacked in East Berlin.

Hammaker told troopers he was walking just north of Route 234 when the two men jumped him, stabbed him with a knife, and then fled in a blue car in an unknown direction, police said.

He said both men were wearing black ski masks, and one was wearing a baseball cap.

He was treated for a minor injury at Holy Spirit Hospital, police said.
