Posted: Updated:
LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police in Lancaster County are investigating a string of burglaries. They said thieves are getting into homes while families are asleep inside.

The latest burglary happened early Wednesday morning on the 100 block of Haskell Drive in Manheim Township. It could be connected to four others that happened over the past two weeks in both Manheim and Lancaster townships.

"We were very worried, especially because someone could come up and take one of the kids or something like that," said Robert Hazen, who said his home was targeted. "We are worried about the kids."

Police said electronics were taken and thieves got into the home through unlocked windows and doors.
