Several Midstate roads were flooded this morning as a result of heavy rainfall.
Maclay Street, an area prone to flooding in Harrisburg, was closed near the Farm Show Complex, and Grayson Road was impassable near the Walmart in Swatara Township, Dauphin County.
Portions of Route 74 in Perry County were also closed because of high water.
Meteorologist Brett Thackara said the rain should clear by late this afternoon, allowing for some Friday evening events.
