?This late into May you would almost expect an early taste of Summer. Not this year! Temperatures both Saturday and Sunday pushed into the upper 60s for highs. Along with passing clouds and low humidity it was a perfect Spring weekend for all the festivals around the region.
The clear skies overnight will allow for temperatures to tumble down into the lower 40s region-wide. Some of the typical colder spots will likely see readings in the 30s by dawn. But we recover nicely with afternoon highs back to around 70 under lots of sunshine.
We warm into the mid 70s for Tuesday, and even push 80 by Wednesday as the chance for some thunderstorms roll back into Central PA. Look for that chance to linger into Thursday before another cool front settles south and knocks our temperatures back a few degrees heading into Memorial Day Weekend.
Early indications point toward a comfortable holiday with temperatures in the lower and mid 70s. There is the chance for a few showers on Saturday, but we'll fine tune that forecast as we get closer.
