Coroner ID's man killed in Cameron Street accident

Posted: Updated:
HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) - The Dauphin County Coroner has identified the man killed in Monday's accident on Cameron Street in Harrisburg as 20-year-old Phillip Ayler of Harrisburg.

The coroner says Ayler died of a traumatic brain injury, his death is ruled accidental.

Police say a truck that carries dumpsters was going south on Cameron Street when it hit a railroad bridge near Berryhill Street and toppled over, crushing a passing vehicle.

Ayler, the driver of the passing car, was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The truck driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital as a precaution.

There is no word if any charges will be filed but police say they're looking at speed as a factor in the crash.
