Police were looking for whoever stole 100-feet of fire hose and the attached nozzle from a Shippensburg fire truck, but it turns out the hose was never stolen and has been found.
Shippensburg Fire Chief Randy O’Donnell told The Sentinel of Carlisle that the hose most likely fell off the truck while firefighters were responding to a small fire in an alley May 11 in the 200 block of High Street.
O’Donnell told the newspaper the hose was reported as stolen, but it was retrieved later that morning at the intersection of King and Queen streets.
