Storm causes power outages across Midstate

Utility companies are reporting thousands without power across the Midstate.

PPL is reporting 8,803 are without power in Dauphin County, 458 in Lancaster County, 1,541 are without power in Perry County, 30 in Cumberland County and 4 in York County.

Met Ed is reporting 13 outages in Adams County, 18 in Cumberland County, 67 in Dauphin County, 282 in Franklin County, 713 in Lebanon County and 921 in York County.

The abc27 StormTrack team says the entire viewing area is under a severe thunderstorm watch until 9 p.m. Storms are developing in and west of the region.
