CARLISLE, Pa. (WHTM) -

A man shot in Carlisle over the weekend is expected to survive his wounds despite being shot multiple times, according to police.

James Felix Walker, 44, was shot at the corner of North Pitt and A Street around 7:50 p.m. Saturday and remained hospitalized Monday, borough police said in a news release.

Investigators have made no arrests, but said they believe the shooting was not random and that Walker was specifically targeted by the shooter or shooters.

They also believe Walker and the shooter or shooters are familiar with each other.

Walker, who has a last known address on H Street in Carlisle, has a criminal history in the borough and out of state, police said.

Police said they have several leads they are actively following.
