Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers is asking for help in solving a weekend crime spree in Hanover where a thief or thieves entered as many as 20 cars, set two vehicles on fire and attempted to burn two more.
Two of the cars set on fire early Saturday were total losses, and flames from one parked on Moul Avenue spread to a garage and two other vehicles.
All vehicles burned were close to occupied homes with adults and children sleeping inside, and the total loss is nearly $200,000, according to investigators.
Authorities said a witness saw two younger males, wearing dark colored clothing, close to the fire on Moul Avenue.
