Personal Information of UVA Law Students Exposed in Email
Charlottesville, VA - UVA is dealing with another data breach.
This time, school officials say a law school administrator accidentally sent out an email that contained students' personal information. A spreadsheet with 155 students’ GPAs, class ranks and other personal information was attached to a mass email list.
The school says the email did not include social security numbers or other financial information. You may remember, the Social Security numbers of thousands of students were included on some health insurance brochures sent out last summer, nationwide.
