A convicted sexual offender wanted for violating Megan's Law was arrested Sunday in Stewartstown.
John P. Wever III, 27, of Fawn Grove, was taken into custody on Highland Manor Drive after he fled on foot and officers chased him through a corn field, Southern York County Regional police said in a news release Monday.
Wever faces charges he failed to register his address with state police as required by Megan's Law, according to court records.
According to the Pennsylvania's Megan's Law website, he was convicted of indecent assault and corruption of minors in 2011.
