Rock Springs Ranch, OR - An Oregon couple didn't let a wildfire get in the way of their wedding and now their wedding pictures have gone viral.

April and Michael Walber were getting ready to say “I Do” when a fire truck pulled up and told them they had to leave.

Smoke could be seen from the location of the wedding, but they were determined to get married there.

After begging the firefighters to let them quickly perform the ceremony, the firefighters agreed and the couple decided to use the fire as the backdrop for their wedding pictures.

The bride said her bridesmaids kept her calm and didn't even let her know about the fire until 30 minutes before the wedding.

According to the groom, "The fire changed the plans of our day and it completely changed the course of what we thought our wedding was going to look like.”

Fire officials said the wildfire scorched about 250 acres.
