Roanoke, VA - Saturday the Science Museum of Western Virginia will unveil a new exhibit called, Tutankhamun: Wonderful Things from the Pharaoh's Tomb.
The traveling exhibit presented by the International Institute of New York introduces you to 124 recreated artifacts from King Tut's tomb. The exhibit has famous pieces most would recognize but also some of the personal items that were also left in the boy king's tomb.
"These personal possessions are what really give this exhibit such a wonderful touch. You learn and see about Tutankhamun as a young man," said the museum's Executive Director, Jim Rollings.
