Man arrested for burglary of Ephrata pizza shop

EPHRATA, Pa. (WHTM) -

An Ephrata man has been arrested for the burglary of a pizza shop in the Lancaster County borough.

Rafael Joel Rodriguez-Alicea, 20, is accused of breaking into Roma Pizza, at 15 West Main Street, and stealing food, drinks and cash valued at $300, Ephrata police said in a news release.

The burglary occurred during the overnight hours between Monday night and Tuesday morning.

Police said they identified Rodriguez-Alicea by reviewing video surveillance from the business.

He was charged with burglary and criminal trespass and sent to Lancaster County Prison on $25,000 cash bail.
