LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police used a stun gun to stop a suspected shoplifter at a Lancaster County store.

Joseph Michael Carlson, 24, and Kalah Kristine Lebzelter, 20, both of Lancaster, were caught removing sales tags from clothing and concealing the merchandise in a baby stroller Tuesday afternoon at the Wal-Mart at 2034 Lincoln Highway East, according to East Lampeter Township police.

Carlson fled and refused to stop when officers arrived, and was taken into custody after a Taser was used, police said.

He was charged with a misdemeanor count of retail theft and sent to Lancaster County Prison.

Lebzelter was charged with a summary count of retail theft and released.
