A 25-year-old woman told police she was sexually assaulted early Tuesday in Lebanon.
The woman reported that she was walking west in the 600 block of Linden Street between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. when her attacker approached her from behind, pushed her to the ground and assaulted her, Lebanon police said in a news release.
The attacker fled west then north from Linden Street, police said.
The woman sustained minor injuries and was treated at a hospital.
When she reported the crime Tuesday night, she described her attacker as 5'7 to 5'10 tall with a heavy build, a deep voice, long brown or black hair, and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, police said.
