YORK, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police have linked a pair of burglaries in Manchester Township, York County.

Northern York County Regional police said the burglaries Tuesday night in the 2300 block of Addison Court and the 1300 block of Sterling Drive are connected.

The resident of Addison Court reported that someone went into his garage and removed cash and electronic items from the vehicles parked inside. The stolen items were later recovered by investigators, police said.

The resident of Sterling Drive told officers he saw a black Honda coupe circling the neighborhood before the driver parked near his home and two males walked onto his driveway.

One of the males walked through an open garage door and set off the motion detector light, and the resident then confronted and struggled with the would-be burglar before both strangers fled, police said.

Authorities continue to investigate the burglaries and several thefts from vehicles in the area. Anyone with information is asked to call Northern York County Regional police at 717-292-3647.
