An old church building has partially collapsed in Steelton.
It happened on the 200-block on Lincoln Street at around 9:30 p.m. Saturday.
An adjacent home was damaged, but no one was injured.
Steelton Mayor Tom Acri told abc27 the church has been abandoned for years, and that as recently as two weeks ago he tried to contact the owner because he was fearful the building was unstable.
Firefighters closed the block where the church is located to all traffic. Crews believe the building is still unstable and that bell may eventually fall as well.
Acri said the borough will likely have to demolish the building in the coming days.
