Police have arrested a man accused of burglarizing The Turkey Hill Experience and two other businesses in Columbia earlier this month.
Scott Allen Zercher, 30, of Wrightsville, surrendered to authorities Friday and admitted to the burglaries, Columbia police said.
He was sent to Lancaster County Prison on $20,000 bail.
Investigators believe Zercher is the man who forced his way into the back of the building at 301 Linden Street by prying open two steel doors in the early morning of June 11.
Once inside, he allegedly searched the Turkey Hill Experience and got into Mike's Diner and a Pizza Hut by breaking through the drywall between the businesses. He tried to get into an office area of at least one businesses, but was unsuccessful, police said.
