A Dauphin County woman was arrested after police said she invited officers to come into her house and smoke marijuana with her.
Laurel Smith, 59, was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and public drunkenness, Susquehanna Township police said.
Officers were dispatched to Smith's home in the 200 block of Cherrington Drive around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday after a 911 hang-up.
County dispatchers reported that the caller was hysterical, requested officers, and said she could be found in the rear of the home smoking marijuana.
Smith became loud and belligerent when officers arrived, and at one time requested that the officers come in the house and smoke marijuana with her, police said.
She then escorted the officers in the house and turned over her marijuana to them, police said.
