HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

Federal prosecutors have filed charges against a Harrisburg man arrested for the armed robbery of a Paxtang bank last year.

Tashan Lantiqua Layton, 24, is accused of robbing the Sovereign Bank branch at 519 South 29th Street on March 30, 2013.

He allegedly stole approximately $18,682 while pointing a semi-automatic handgun at employees and customers.

If convicted, authorities said Layton faces up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.
