Man arrested in Lower Paxton human trafficking investigation

Posted: Updated:

District Attorney Ed Marsico announced an arrest Thursday in a human trafficking and prostitution investigation in Lower Paxton.

Officials say Coy Christopher Klinger of 5716 Kenwood Avenue was arrested. Klinger allegedly went by the name, "Johnny Rain" and recruited young women on Facebook to become prostitutes.

The Facebook posts would reportedly ask if the girls wanted to make money, some making $2,000 a week.

Police say Klinger had an 18-year-old prostitute working for him but girls as young as 16-years-old answered the ads.

Klinger has been charged with solicitation, prostitution, unlawful contact with a minor, sexual abuse of a child, dissemination of a child sex act, sexual exploitation of children and corruption of minors.

Officials say Klinger is out on bail.

Marsico says more girls may have been recruited or worked for "Johnny Rain." They're asking anyone with information on this to contact police.
